Dr Hannah Degge is an Assistant Professor in Health Promotion and Public Health, in the Faculty of Medicine and School of Health Sciences, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She has a master’s in public health from University of Leeds, United Kingdom and a PhD from University of Hull, United Kingdom. In the last 13 years, she has worked in various roles in higher education both for undergraduate and post-graduate studies. Zuhrah Taufiqa is a doctor in nutrition and a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia, after completing her Doctor of Nutrition degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. She was involved in the “Gambier Catechin Project” on an Alzheimer’s rat model in 2015–2016, the “Dadiah Project” for pregnant women in West Sumatra during 2020–2022, and the “Filih Project,” an innovation of finger food made from Bilih Fish—an endemic local fish of West Sumatra—for complementary feeding in 2024. She also contributed to “Next-Gen Oral Care,” the development of Gambir Gum bioactive compounds as natural antimicrobials, as well as the formulation of antimicrobial effervescent tablets from lime peel extract and tamarind as a decontaminant for fruits and vegetables in Indonesia.
