Dr. Sally Guttmacher , PhD is Emeritus Professor of Public Health at New York University and Senior Consultant for Community Rising Africa Network and on the Board of the Workers Circle. She is also a Honorary Professor of Public Health at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Dr. Guttmacher’s current primary research interests are in the areas of health and human rights, especially applied to reproductive health and the health risks encountered by cross-border migrants. She currently teaches Global Issues in Reproductive Health and Human Rights at NYU. She has been the Principal Investigator of a number of research projects.
