Public Health – 2019

iConferences Proudly presented the International Conference on Public Health and Well-Being 2019 on 04th and 5th April 2019 in Negombo, Sri Lanka under the theme “Promoting the well-being of humanity to ensure healthy lives for all”. It was a successful attempt with the collaboration of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ankara University, Turkey.

The First International Conference on Public Health and Well-being was well attended with more than 50 researches representing a number of countries like Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, USA, UAE, Sri Lanka and etc. The First International Conference on Public Health and Well-being put an emphasized effect to create an extraordinary platform among health care specialists to discuss solutions for public health concerns and problems that the world experiences.

Publication Workshop

The publication workshop on “Publish to achieve many citations” addressed the most prominent issues that should be considered when writing a full research article to get published. During this workshop, the following issues were discussed.

 

1. Planning a publishable paper
2. The different sectors of the paper that are needed
3.  How to write an effective title and abstracts
4.  Reporting standards
5.  Choosing a journal that seems a good fit for your paper

 

This was a well attended with the interest of a number of researches and it was jointly conducted by Prof. Sally Guttmtacher (Emeritus Professor of Public Health,New York University, USA Senior Technical Advisor, HealthRight International, USA) and  Prof. Jack Needlemen (Fred W. and Pamela K. Wasserman Professor Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management, Fielding School of Public Health University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA).
